ROYAL BLUE LAMP BOX SERIES
Here is something that you rarely see. This is part of what I refer to as the Blue Lamp Boxes. This is a Royal C-7 Candelabra base set. The set uses the same box that was used for the C-9 outfit. It has its own candelabra box liner. On one end it has the C-7 sticker covering up a C-9 lamp. Royal must have had an abundance of the C-9 boxes already made, and instead of making new C-7 boxes, just had stickers made up. Stamped a different set number on the box and there you have it a new light set. Just for reference the C-9 set is #301. The C-7 set is #350. The C-6 set is #250X.

"Outfit" used to have meanings it doesn't have today.

Nice boxes on those sets Gary! St. Nick Lights and PARCO (Paramount Canada) from the same era also used the Intermediate Box Packaging and artwork for their Candelabra base sets.
Gary, why do you refer to them as the "blue lamp boxes"?

The pictures do not do the boxes justice. The lamps on the cover of all three sets are blue, hence I just call them the blue lamp boxes. No other special reason. Its just one of the headings I have them cataloged under.
